About: I'm a Malaysian who believes design needs to be demystified, since people already make design choices everyday without realising. Seeing people gain a deeper understanding of the places they inhabit, so that they can transform it to their liking, is what excites me the most.
About: I love historical buildings that hold the memory of a country. It is the source of our culture. A memory that is silent and untouched. I also like to study new building techniques, such as interactive design and assembly buildings.
About: Throughout my studies, I have gained valuable skills in design, technical drawing, and project management. I have been fortunate to work on a range of projects, from residential homes to public buildings, and have gained experience in both traditional and contemporary design styles. Looking ahead, I am excited to continue to explore the field of architecture and the importance of sustainability and functionality in design.
28.02.23 - Catch up Zoom meeting with Dave and Alicia. A great discussion about our poster development and a brainstorming session for potential group names.

The first time of the site visit to the Gorse Hill Studio.
The garden in front of the building is small and faces many problems wait to be solved like side street noise and sunlight, etc. The narrow space also requires us to come up with a design approach to maximize the garden space area, try to design a furniture can satisfy the needs of both art exhibitions and feature of flexibility.
Our initial idea is to design a foldable furniture which can transform into a display board during the exhibition time and folded into a small block during the daily used to maximize the space area. At the meantime, we should also give this furniture a movable feature that can used to be a road guide for users.
The first meeting between team members and collaborators
The cooperators state the design requirements and sketch the sites.
Project Introduction:

01.02.23 - First visit at 'The Castle' Community Centre in Eccles. Dave and Alicia gave us a tour around each space of the building in order to see how the different community activities take place. Most importantly, it enabled us to understand the existing issues that they are looking to tackle and improve with the building's refurbishment and regeneration.
We had our first site to the St John Centre with our collaborator Emma. We had the chance to understand the space and the different activities happening in it.
We can't wait to work on it!
