A fantastic first day as the team got to know each other and introduced the project brief. The undergraduates started by brainstorming with defining strategies and concepts.
After lunch, we worked in groups to enhance the ideas and illustrate them, which will be brought to the clients for tomorrow’s site visit and meeting.

Day 1 to go!
Here are some initial ideas from the day one conversation, which were made for day-2 site visit and client meeting. Each group developed and pictured one preliminary strategy, as well as discussed it with the others. Three options were made by the end of the day. The sketchings will be taken to the site the next day to confirm with the clients.

Day 3 to go!
We had developed three schemes, and respectively analyzed the pros and cons in the conference with the clients and considered the feasibility on site. Finally, two were selected as promising, on which the team has been working in preparation for further communication with engineers and customers the next Monday.

Day 4 to go!
This was a teaching day!
As both schemes had been well developed in the past few days, this was the day for postgraduate members to teach undergraduate members digital skills, which included sketching and modelling.
We divided into two groups and taught separately. Undergraduate students have learned lots of new digital skills tricks on this day. The purpose was to present architectural ideas more efficiently -- which is very important in communicating the project to clients.

Day 5 to go!
This is the day to practice out!
On this day, the team members were divided into three groups to materialize the three proposals. Through modeling and technical detail drawing, the undergraduate members consolidated the digital skills they learned yesterday.
Models and drawings were made into presentation slides to prepare for the conference with clients and engineers next Monday.

Day 5 to go!
Time to practice!
Models and drawings of three schemes were made to concrete the concepts and ideas. The new undergraduate members have learned more about digital design and collaboration through this process. Slides were also made for the presentation to clients and engineers the next Monday.
