As a group we first began by identifying the objectives of our MSA live project. Essentially this project is about building a sustainable, intergenerational, and family-friendly housing co-operative in the heart of Fallowfield. Our approach was to first make sure we understand the objectives and goals as a group and draw our own interpretations of it before meeting with the clients. Then we proceeded with a meeting with our clients in order for them to elaborate on their visions and goals for this project. We specifically wanted to understand what kind of project output is expected from us and in what areas of design and practice we could contribute the most. As a group we came up with three main tasks; net positive development, overall site design, inviting more people on the site. During the project development period we are actively in touch with the clients to provide them with quick follow up updates on the project progress.
