Course: MArch 1
Atelier: SKN
Hi, I’m Becky Goode, a Master of Architecture student at MSA, studying in atelier Some Kind of Nature. My work focuses on sustainability, with a particular interest for bio-based regenerative materials and exploring their potential to transform contemporary construction practices.
I previously studied at Northumbria University in Newcastle, specialising in adaptive reuse. After graduating, I worked at The Manser Practice for my part 1 work experience, where I worked on large-scale commercial projects, many for the NHS. This allowed me to develop strong Revit skills, particularly in master planning. Following this, I took a year out to travel to Asia, broadening my perspective on architecture.
Throughout my master’s, I am exploring a design ethos centred on bio-based, recycled, and regenerative materials. This aligns with the work of Plastic Shed, reinforcing my commitment to sustainable, circular design.
