ECOHUB HOUSE

Groundwork - EcoHub is a demonstration center within Palatine Library, showcasing cutting-edge domestic low-carbon and renewable energy technologies, including solar PV, air source heat pumps, high-efficiency electric heating, and insulation. The project aims to redesign the space to be more technologically advanced, interactive, and accessible for all ages. The new design will enhance visitor engagement by allowing them to interact with the displayed technologies, gain hands-on experience, and access key information independently or with staff assistance. This transformation will ensure a more immersive learning environment, inspiring individuals to explore sustainable solutions for their own homes.

Day 4:
Modeling Day.

Today, we continued to work on the physical model and the digital model. We finished the day with an online meeting with our collaborator.
Posted 15 May 2025 20:52
Day 5:
End of the week.

We talked about the review meeting yesterday and made the final decisions about designs. Then We continued work on Physical Model all together.
Posted 16 May 2025 14:07
Day 6:

Starting the week by working hard!
We continue work on models. We are coming to the end of the modelling work. We talked about the details of physical model and start drawing them on cad file. For the digital model, we continue work on details in the room.
Posted 19 May 2025 15:23
Day 7:

We continued working on the physical model in B12, assembling its main parts and adding finer details to reflect our design intentions. For the digital model, we focused on finalizing the design details, paying close attention to material selections such as timber and glass, and also lighting elements to ensure they accurately represented the sustainable technologies. This parallel development helped us align both models and strengthen the overall coherence of our project.
