We’re on the lookout for enthusiastic creators to help fully construct this one-of-a-kind interactive trolley @1:1! Here’s what we’ll be doing: +Designing a trolley that’s modular, durable, and weather-resistant + Crafting a structure that’s engaging, adaptable, and community-driven + Encouraging artistic expression through an accessible platform + Fully constructing the machine at 1:1 for real-life use +Testing the machine within the community alongside artist & client Joseph Schneider No experience? No problem! Just bring your creativity and teamwork skills—we’ll figure out the rest together! Are you ready to turn possibilities into reality? Let’s build something amazing together!

Possibility Machine 2.0: Design Manifesto

The Possibility Machine 2.0 is more than a trolley! It is a mobile catalyst for creativity, conversation, and community. Building upon the original project, we aim to expand its potential, making it more adaptable, sustainable, and engaging for all. We believe in open-ended creativity, where public spaces become platforms for artistic expression and social interaction. This new version will be a transformative, modular structure that encourages collaboration across generations, making art accessible to those who may not traditionally engage with it. We envision a trolley that is not just a tool but an experience. It will be an evolving artwork that responds to its environment and the people who interact with it.

The Possibility Machine 2.0 will explore:

+Mobility & Accessibility – ensuring it is lightweight, adaptable, and easy to transport.

+Sustainability & Innovation – integrating renewable materials and environmental awareness.

+Social Engagement – fostering a sense of ownership and participation within the community.

+Creativity Without Limits – allowing for artistic freedom through dynamic and interactive surfaces.

This project is a statement and a belief that art should move, evolve, and belong to everyone. It is an open invitation to imagine, play, and create new possibilities.

The two-week program revolves around the complete process of designing the project.

The first week focuses on concept exploration and preliminary preparation, including teamwork, brainstorming, prototype testing, and preliminary modeling to lay the foundation for further design.

In the second week, we enter the phase of scheme optimization and results presentation. Through Client DRP review, model improvement, final drawing and publication arrangement, we ensure the final landing and smooth submission of the design scheme.
